The award-winning externship program takes place during the week of spring break.  During this time, students are paired with a sponsor from a company that meshes well with that particular student’s professional goals.  Throughout the week of spring break students spend their time with their sponsors and apply knowledge from the classroom in a professional work environment.  It’s an excellent opportunity for students to gain real world insight into the career field (s)he is interested in.  It’s also an excellent way for employers to see if the student would be a possible fit for their company.  In the past more than 50% of our extern participants have been offered full-time employment or internship positions.
