Career Counseling involves one-on-one or group professional assistance in exploration and decision-making tasks related to choosing a major/occupation, transitions into the world of work, or further professional training. Career counseling is not only limited to job information; rather it can also explore any dimensions of your life that are affecting career related decisions.
Career Assessment Tools
Depending on your needs, your career specialist may suggest taking assessments to help clarify your interests, values, personality, and skills. The Strong Interest Inventory (SII), MBTI-II, Jung Typology Test, Skills Analysis, and Career Values identification are several tools that are widely implemented to facilitate the career exploration process.
